A little bit of history -
I’ve been experimenting with digital photography since about 2006. During that year I spent time learning about composition by photographing my pet dogs with a point-n-shoot camera. The dogs were always very patient with me and seemed to enjoy the attention. :-)
During early 2007 I discovered the power and flexibility that exposure bracketing provides and stumbled onto the HDR technique as it became more popular on the internet.
In late 2007 I splashed out and spent big money on a DSLR camera and a few lenses.
The lens that stays on the camera much of the time is a 10-20mm wide angle lens which gives me nice results with landscape and seascape shots. Lately I’ve been developing an interest in long exposure photography utilizing the very dark ND400 neutral density filter and also night photography and intend to pursue these further.
My obsession with black and white portraiture photography also continues.
